Architectural Style: Queen Anne
Some have called these smaller "queens" by the term "princess Anne". At any rate, its a beautiful work and displays intricate details that make it a "queen" in my mind. The spindlework, fishscales, and baregeboard are a few features that I point out!
This is my house, built by August Timpte, who was a carriage maker and whose business evolved to making truck trailers when horses went out of style. You've seen the Timpte mudflaps on semi trucks. For a time in the 1970s, the house was owned by Hiawatha Davis, Denver City Councilman. The house is considered a Queen Anne vernacular cottage.
