Summary: View of the fountain titled "The State of Colorado Fountain" (sculpted in 1917 by Lorado Taft), also known as the Joseph Addison Thatcher Memorial Fountain, on the north end of City Park Esplanade in City Park, Denver, Colorado. Shows a bronze statue of a woman, garbed in robes, on a granite base. Jets of water surround the statue. Groups of bronze figures on the base. Teenagers, some with balloons, sit or walk near the fountain.
