Kistler-Rodriguez House
The William Henry Kistler family first occupied this house in 1920. Kistler (1858-1936) was a successful early Denver businessman and founder of the W.H. Kistler Stationery Company, the largest concern of its kind in the West for many years. Denver architect Jules J.B. Benedict designed the eclectic Jacobethan Revival style house. The house was later occupied by Dr. Rene Alvarez Rodriguez, physician and honorary consul to the Dominican Republic. The property is associated with The Architecture of Jules Jacques Benois Benedict in Colorado Multiple Property Submission.
