Crawford Hill Mansion
Designed by architect Theodore Davis Boal in 1906 in the French Renaissance style, this house exemplifies high society in Capitol Hill. Crawford Hill was the son of Nathaniel Peter Hill, the founder of the Colorado smelting industry. Louise Hill, his wife was in active in Denver society and was the leader of the “Sacred 36”, a group of elite Denver families.
