A community for those who may need a little extra help in preserving their family treasures.
National Preservation Week
To celebrate National Preservation Week, the Society of Rocky Mountain Archivists and the Denver Public Library Western History/Genealogy Department hold an event open to the public every year in April. This event provides consultations for your family treasures with conservation experts and archivsits. Do you have family treasures that are in need of some TLC? Does that picture of Uncle Bubba look like him? You know, kinda torn, wrinkled and a little sagging? What about the white crocheted bed covering that Great Grandma made that has turned yellow with age? Well, this community was formed to allow all of you out there who want to help, or need help with preserving those family heirlooms.
