Buildings have lives.  Each building has a different life span.  Some, like the Pantheon, last for millennia.  Others, only a few years or decades.  This community is dedicated to honoring the lives of buildings that are no longer with us.  From their inception to their destruction all are welcome to share their memories of these structures, or their final moments.

Attached newspaper clipping reads: "Sunlight spills through openings knocked in the wall of the old Broadway theater at 1756 Broadway, which is being torn down to make way for a $350,000 parking garage for the Cosmopolitan hotel. The historic theater opened in 1890 and was a favorite among leaders of Denver society for may years. On its stage trouped many of the greats of show business - Maude Adams, George Arliss, Will Rogers, Al Jolson, Mae West, John Barrymore and others."; R7100248196
